JPAC supports migrant and immigrant communities across Northern Michigan through direct services, education, and advocacy.
We provide critical services including interpretation and translation, emergency financial assistance, referrals for mental health and legal support, and guidance in navigating healthcare, immigration, and public systems. We also offer transportation to clinics, immigration appointments, and the Mexican Consulate—accompanying individuals through complex processes with dignity and compassion.
JPAC also facilitates educational immersion trips to places such as the U.S.–Mexico border, Puerto Rico, Bolivia, Peru, and communities throughout Michigan. These journeys foster deeper understanding and inspire lasting commitments to justice and solidarity.
At the heart of everything we do is a simple truth: The people we serve are essential to our economy, our communities, and our shared humanity.
